Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Doctors of Babel province demanded to activate the health insurance law to cover the health institutions of the province.

The Director of Hilla health center, within Babel health department, Dr. Ahemd Shuleah, mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Monday ”The law of the health insurance is currently applied on the Ministry of Oil and Ministry of Electricity,” pointing that ”The Ministry of Health lacks for such law.”

He added ”The activation of this law became very necessary for health sector since it stipulates protecting the employees of the Ministry and ensures their rights.”

”The health system needs to be reconsidered,” he stressed, demanding the Iraqi Parliament to “pay attention for this important case since it will bring benefit to the public interest.” \
